Description: A funny variation on the Three little pigs story told as WW2 anti-german propaganda, as the US had just entered the war. It’s interesting how at times of war a nations culture could turn to influence even those so innocent and un-involved in the conflict such as children. Still, it’s a harmless and funny watch so it will make a great watch for any MGM Carton enthusiast and for children as well.

The wrong trousers

Description (Rob Hartill): Plasticine animation of the loveable duo of Wallace and Gromit; inventors of all manner of useful devices. In this Oscar winning story, Gromit (a dog) finds himself being pushed out of his room and home by a new lodger who is actually a ruthless criminal (and a small penguin). The penguin is planning a robbery and needs to use Wallace and his mechanical remote controlled trousers to pull off the raid. However, Gromit is wise to the penguin and comes to the rescue. A must see for all ages.

Red hot riding hood

Description (Reidar Lyng): Most of you probably know this classic cartoon already. Instead of the usual bit, the characters of the fairy-tale absolutely refuse to do the tale in the same old way. Little Red Riding Hood turns herself into the hottest singer in town, the wolf becomes a skirt chaser and grandma turns into a nymphomaniac. Mayhem ensues. Enjoy.

Description (Jon Reeves): The sad, strange life of Harvie, who is born into an impoverished Middle European existence, and whose one constant is the book of “fakts” he keeps adding to, worn around his neck. After a childhood tragedy, he emigrates to Australia, where he has a succession of menial jobs, eventually ending up in a retirement home. Along the way, he has a string of bad luck, leaving him with, among other things, a steel plate in his skull that becomes a magnet.

Description: Another important part of cartoon animation history, Walt Disney’s dancing skeletons put together a wonderful cartoon filled with original humor, music and sound effects. Amazingly, this cartoon was created as early as 1929, and at that time could only be viewed in real cinemas, as opposed to today when cartoons and animations themselves are mainly viewed via TV or Internet, and even there good pieces have become a rarity. This is a happy playful cartoon that the kids will most surely enjoy so be sure to have them around if you’re a parent.
